Recovery fund for Garry Lambright
Donation protected
Garry Lambright had a stroke at work on January 15, 2020, only three days after starting a new job. He had to undergo emergency brain surgery due to brain swelling, and has since suffered a second stroke while still in hospital.
Garry is stable, responsive, and in good spirits, but he will be in hospital long term as he recovers.
We're starting this GoFundMe to help out his wife (Naomi) and three kids (Elycia, 17; Arianna, 15; Matthew, 12). They've already had to deal with the stress of hospitals and surgeries, so we'd love if they didn't have to worry about the mortgage or gas bills for the next little while! Any amount we can raise will buy the Lambrights time to adjust to what the future might hold.
Anyone who knows Garry can attest that he is patient, kind, and warm-hearted. He's an active member of the community, and helped coach a team in the Barrie Christian Hockey League for several years. He also played regularly on a Monday night league, and made every game, regardless of outcome, seem positive with his sheer enthusiasm and constant encouragement.
We're so grateful to everyone who has already blessed the Lambrights generously with money, meals, and prayers. The outpouring of love from friends, family, and community has been really amazing. Thank you so much.
