Dixie Fire Recovery Fund for Eva and Mike Gorman

On Thursday, August 5, Eva and Mike Gorman (and dog Zuzu) lost their home in the second largest fire in CA, the Dixie Fire. Eva also lost her business in downtown Greenville, as the majority of the town was burnt to the ground. I feel moved to do my part in helping them to recover from this devastating loss by setting up this GoFundMe page. Nothing can replace everything Eva and Mike have lost (which was everything except what they could take with them when they evacuated), but at least we can help them get back on their feet, and show them how much they are surrounded by love and support.

I personally have worked with Eva for 25 years, and have been so touched by her warm heart, positive outlook, wild creativity, and strong sense of purpose. She taught me the art and love of knitting, which is a gift I'll never forget. Fortunately, they both still have jobs, but will need to find a place to live, and all the necessary furnishings for their new home, and office. Please donate whatever you can, no mater how big or how little. Thank you.
