Recovery Fund for Abeje Bates

Donation protected

As told by his loving aunt Tanisha:

Abeje is a 21 year old student-athlete who plays football and runs track while attending Compton Community College.  On Sunday, November 27th,  he went to the park around the corner from his home to workout and was shot 6 times. He was found by his father who happened to come by the house to bring him money and food for the week and found him laying in the park. No one reported seeing or hearing anything. Abeje was shot on a regular morning, doing the same workout he had done each morning from 6 to 9 am in the same park for the past year.

At the present time, Abeje is in stable condition, but his prognosis is unclear.  He will certainly have a long recovery and significant medical expenses, and funds raised here will go directly to his care and support.
