Izzy’s Recovery from Functional Neurological Disorder

UPDATE 23/12/24: After a 12 hour wait in A+E at QMC the doctors are taking me seriously and I have been admitted for further treatment and investigations.

Hi everyone, my name is Isobelle. I’m fundraising to help me with my journey to recovery from my diagnosis of Functional Neurological Disorder and allow me to get a second medical opinion.

I have attended 4 NHS A+E departments and spent 4 days in Derby Royal Hospital over the past week and keep getting turned away and my diagnosis is not being taken seriously so I may have to go down the private route. I am not able to do any of my daily activities and I am currently having to sleep in a bed downstairs and shuffle to the bathroom with crutches and the support of my husband. I am not able to complete any of my normal daily activities and the pain is so severe I cannot even sit and watch TV or read a book!

I would really appreciate if you are able to donate a small amount to help me get the treatment that I need.
