On Saturday August 3rd my family experienced a tragedy. 

I will not go into details about the events that took place. In short,
3 of my sisters children, were involved in a hostage situation. My sisters youngest daughter was held hostage at gun point for hours until the SWAT  intervened, ending in the death of my sisters ex husband inside of her apartment.

My sister has not been able to return home due to an on going investigation, and she may never be able to return to her home due to the events that took place that night .  
She has lost so much in such a short amount of time and this money will help her pay for clothes and shoes, food, assistance with getting into a new apartment and other necessities to help her and her 4 beautiful kids recover from this terrible incident.
