Recovery for Yvette!
Donativo protegido
Hi...it has been a whirlwind since the beginning of 2020 due to the global pandemic. Unfortunately, COVID-19 wasn't the challenge my sister, Yvette, faced. Yvette was in a horrible car accident in June 2021.
I remember being so afraid when I heard that she was taken by ambulance to the hospital and not knowing how she was.
Her car was totaled at the fault of someone else. I must say, we are all blessed that she is alive but not without injuries.
She is still struggling with the medical recovery of injuries, loss of income and nominal insurance coverage to cover the material losses.
Legal fees have mounted as have medical bills, regular bills and her mental well-being. I feel absolutely terrible and besides being there for her for emotional support, my hope with this GoFundMe goal, is to help my sister and her family recoup what was collected for legal fees and loss of income.
Thank you for your support and most importantly, your thoughts and prayers throughout for her healing process (upcoming knee surgeries, injections for hip pain and physical therapy).
Love to you all,
Nia
