Recovery for Wayne
Donation protected
On Christmas night 2017, my son Wayne was in a horrific house fire. He jumped out of a window to save his life and drove himself to the hospital which was incredible since he sustained severe burns to his face, eyes, neck, hands and airways to his lungs. I flew here from Virginia to be with him throughout this ordeal. He lives in St. Louis and has no family here. His entire support system is on the East Coast.
He is a loving father, son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend. He has a good heart and will help any and everyone. His hands are his livelihood as he is self-employed in home improvement and repair and roofing. He is very skilled at his craft and gives great customer service. He does not have health/medical insurance.
He is in ICU Burn unit on a respirator to help him breathe. So far, they have done skin grafts on his hands as well as two other procedures.
The funds are needed for his medical and extensive rehabilitation care, his current expenses such as truck payment, cellphone bill, etc. and expenses for travel and lodging so that I and other family members can be with him throughout this lengthy ordeal.
Please keep Wayne in your prayers for complete healing.
Many thanks for your concern and support.
