Hello my name is Amber Murray, I am Jessie’s cousin.

On May 13, 2023 Jessie Malandruccol’s children ( Richard and Jaydah) were in a horrific car accident with their father and his girlfriend

on Bruce Road 3 in Dunkled. Richard was

able to crawl out of the back of the window and call 911. Ken (Richard and Jaydah father) died at the scene, Richard was taken to Walkerton Hospital where he was then airlifted to London

Childrens Hospital due to his injuries. Jaydah was taken to Hanover hospital and then ambulanced to London Childrens hospital as well due to her injuries. Currently both children are still in hospital, as of right now Richard has a broken sternum, broken collar bone, broken rib, torn liver, damaged spleen and kidney. He is currently going for X-rays to assess any damage on his legs.

Jaydah has broken elbow and broken thumb, and is significantly bruised due to impact. She will be going for surgery on May 18 for her elbow.

Both of these children will need extensive therapy in dealing with the emotions of losing their father and the trauma that this has caused , both will need physiotherapy. This will also take a toll on Jessie as she is a single mom and will need to take the children to their appointments which means time off work for Jessie. As well as she is currently staying at the Ronald McDonald house in London so she can be close to her children. This doesn’t mean that the bills stop at home! This money raised will go towards the needs for the kids, therapy, and bills so Jessie can take this time with her children.
