Recovery for Our sister Deanne Soucier

We are Deanne's sisters..Cindy and Tracy..

2 years ago..Deanne started her journey of multiple emergency surgeries for diverticulitis and perferated bowel. She's had an ileostomy, colostomy, ostomy..JP drains..sepsis..

She's had severe complications from every surgery. On Friday February 3rd..she underwent a 12 hour surgery to correct all the issues she's been having. She was left with 90 cm of small intestine and 7cm of colon..5 days post-op she had an emergency exploratory surgery because a lot of her small intestine had died. . The following day she had to have yet another emergency exploratory surgery..lasting 5 hours..removing another 20 cm of her small intestine.

They can longer operate on her small intestine..that's the maximum amount that can be removed to survive. She had been on full sedation and a ventilator from February 8th to February 13th.

Today..February 16th..she is having more drains put in as we set up this go fund me.

She has 2 small blood clots in her lungs..a small blood clot in her left leg below the knee.

Our sister has been financially strapped since this all started. She couldn't work because of the pain and the severity of her condition.

She will have a long road ahead of her for continuous wound care and healing. And she has pneumonia onto of it all. Anyone who knows..knows we are a humble family and try to do things ourselves..but we are now needing to ask for help for our sister. This will be to help keep her home..gas for travel..and for expenses .
