Recovery for Michael Brunke

Michael Brunke, a Honolulu based artist and father has been a staple in the local punk rock , graffiti and art scenes for many years. His trademark  lowbrow art has almost certainly caught your eye if you've spent any time in the Honolulu underground.
   Michael recently caught the flu(influenza A) which led to pneumonia. He was hospitalized and treated for the pneumonia when the flu took stronger hold, weakening his ability to fight the pneumonia. After a few days of unsuccessful treatment and diminishing health, he was put on a respirator and into an induced coma and given a 15% chance of survival.
   10 days later and hes finally back awake, talking, and slowly starting to eat and exercise again.  As of 1/12 Michael is officially out of the ICU but is still being closely monitored. His health has improved significantly and hes looking forward to visits, and hopefully returning home in the next week or so if all goes well. He's lost weight, his legs are atrophied, and hes looking at a month or two recovery time, with physical and speech therapy, just to gain strength and function normal again. We just want to help him with rent and basic necessities during his recovery. Anything helps, even just a repost or a positive thought.
