Recovery for Matthew Parisi - Motorcycle Accident

Hello.
My name is Andrew Parisi and I am starting this GoFundMe for my 21 year old little brother, Matthew Parisi, that was recently involved in a serious motorcycle accident.
He was driving home to get ready to head to visit with a few of his grade school friends, when he hit by another driver (hit and run) and was ejected into a utility pole from his motorcycle. Akron Hit Skip is still investigating the area in hopes of finding who hit Matthew.
The injuries he sustained were a broken collarbone, fractured scapula, collapsed left lung, both lungs bruised, a concussion, and unfortunately, the worst of the injuries is fractured T-3 & T-4 vertebrae (spinal cord), which leaves him as of now, paralyzed from his chest down, with a 25% chance of walking again.
Matthew is a very determined, loving, family oriented, and hard working individual, and we believe 25% is all he will need to beat all of the odds.
If you know Matthew, he would hate the idea of this being created, because he is not the one to take handouts. He works hard for everything he has in life, and will continue to do so regardless of the extent of his injuries. We are just asking for help with the 12-18 months of recovery to come.
We the family, appreciate any support you wish to give in this campaign. However, we just ask for prayers. The power of prayer and God's plan is something we believe in and accept. We will keep everyone posted and again, thank you in advance for everything.
