Recovery for Elizabeth and Isaiah
Donation protected
Last Tuesday September 28th my mother Elizabeth and 9 year old brother Isaiah got in to a horrific accident. Sadly a drunk driver hit them almost head on, just nearly taking both of their lives. This is the hardest thing me or my family has ever gone through. Both my mother and brother are in critical condition. My brother is doing very well thank god, and just recently got moved out of critical condition, and should be heading home soon! He’s pretty banged up but is being such a champ. He had some internal things wrong with him and will have to wear a neck brace and sling for a while but he’s doing so much better already. My mother is still fighting very hard for her life. She’s gotten a few surgeries already but still has a couple more to go. She was severely injured and has a long road ahead of her. She is suffering immensely from a broken hip, a broken spine, broken ankle, wrist, and arm, many broken ribs, bruised lungs, she will also need skin grafts and much more. She is very strong and although she is not out of the woods yet, we are all praying she makes a recovery.
Many people have reached out, asking what they can do to help my mother, brother and our family. Although it is difficult for us to reach out and ask for help, we are putting together this GoFundMe page to help pay for the accruing medical and future rehabilitation expenses, and necessities for my brother who my husband and I will now be in care of. If you can help out in anyway by making a donation to help my family through what is unquestionably the most difficult time we have faced, it would be greatly appreciated. My mothers medical expenses will be extensive and her road to recovery will be long, extremely difficult, and excruciatingly painful at times but we all believe wholeheartedly and pray that she will recover, in time. Thank you to everyone who has reached out and to anyone who can donate. We ask you to please continue to pray! God is good and I know he is keeping them both strong through all of this!
