Recovery for Eletah (10 yrs old)
Donation protected

This accident took place this past Friday, May 11th, as Eletah Williams, a 10 year old 4th grader was on her way to school, with her little brother, driven by their father. The accident, which was not their fault, left Eletah fighting for her life. After being life flighted to Primary Childrens Hospital in SLC, it was determined that this poor girl has a broken pelvis, broken arm, broken collarbone, and broken jaw. She has crushed facial bones, lost most of her front teeth, has multiple cuts, lacerations, and extreme swelling and bruising.
The good news is, she survived this horrible crash and her brother and father walked away only with minor injuries. The bad news is, she has multiple surgeries ahead, a long hospital stay and a lot of physical therapy to go through.
She is a very bright, sweet, kind, and beautiful little girl. She also happens to be one of my daughter’s best friends. They have been really good school friends for the past few years. Coincidentally, they share the exact same birthday and we recently learned they were both born in the same hospital.
I won’t go into detail, but the Williams family already has their share of medical challenges without this horrific event. They could really use some support for Eletah as she goes through this ordeal. At the very least, they are going to need some specialized medical equipment to bring her home, to get her around and even to help her bathe.
This is my first Go Fund Me Campaign. I have set a modest financial goal that I would love to reach and even perhaps surpass. I am asking those that are able, to simply donate whatever they feel they can afford and/or share her story. No donation is too small and everything helps.
Thank you you for reading Eletah’s story and we appreciate your consideration.
