A stretch of Highway 1 eastbound in Langley, BC was closed Saturday morning after a multi-vehicle crash that sent Sam Murdaugh, Clint's youngest son, to the hospital.
"Authorities said the crash happened just after 6 a.m. right before the 200th Street off-ramp. Initial reports said the crash involved a SUV that collided with a tractor trailer that had broken down on the side of the road.
Debris was seen littered across the road at the scene. The SUV appeared to be completely destroyed.
Police initially said they were investigating a fatal crash, but later provided an update saying the driver of the SUV had been taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation."
Sam is currently in ICU. The extent and burden of his injuries in themselves are a lot to bare.
