Hello! It has been 2 1/2 years since my motorcycle accident, where I had a series of fractures in my arms and became an above knee amputee. I am still recovering, getting stronger, and pushing myself every day.

Although I have been working and have insurance, I have been denied being covered for a new prosthetic leg. The cost is approximately $60k for just the knee component. This new knee would allow me to stand longer, walk closer to a normal speed, decrease deterioration of my hip joint, and alleviate low back pain.

With your help, I will be to get a new leg and be one step closer in my recovery journey.
