Recovering Rwanda

Youth education is vital to childhood development and the improvement of the lives of young people globally. They are the future leaders of the force for change in the world and progression of the human race.

Unfortunately, the right to youth education is not guaranteed to all nations today. Countries that are suffering socio-economically are not able to provide proper schooling to the eager minded children of their nation. The Rwandan genocide in the 1990s was a period of darkness that left the nation in shambles, killing off a majority of the population and leaving a disproportionate number of children left helpless. We are raising money to benefit MindLeaps, an international-NGO that uses dance to develop the cognitive skills and social-emotional learning of at-risk youth to ensure that they can succeed in school, enter the workplace and leap forward in life. We hope to raise money to sponsor a child in the program through a year of schooling. This initiative is just a small step toward recovery in Rwanda in hopes of a larger scale restoration. Any donation will help make an impact.
