HI FRIENDS. JEREMY, YOUR FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD BARTENDER HERE, ASKING FOR YOUR SUPPORT ON BEHALF OF MARCUS AND JENNIFER MALTESE.
On the afternoon of Sunday July 21, 2024 the raging Hawarden fire swept through Riverside County and devastated the home and lives of Marcus and Jennifer Maltese. Many of their belongings, including vehicles and various other items, were either lost or suffered significant smoke damage. They are currently working to salvage what they can. Kids playing with fireworks in the field behind their home changed these amazing people’s lives. They were extremely lucky to have experienced no loss of life.
Who are Marcus and Jennifer Maltese?
Marcus and Jennifer are not just any couple, they’re the heart and soul behind GoodFellas Bar in Rancho Cucamonga—our cherished home away from home. They work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that GoodFellas remains a welcoming place for everyone. Beyond their dedication to the bar, Marcus and Jenn are incredibly kind and generous people who would give you the shirt off their backs. Their warmth and generosity have touched everyone at GoodFellas, and they are loving parents to their babies.
What was lost?
While Marcus, Jenn and their children are safe and sound, their home and many of their possessions were destroyed or severely damaged by the fire. Their renters insurance falls short of covering their losses, leaving them in a challenging position as they try to rebuild their lives.
How will your donation help?
Your thoughtful donation will go directly to Marcus and Jenn to help them begin the process of rebuilding. They are starting over and slowly coming back but they could use our help to get back up on their feet.
How can we help?
Please consider making a donation—no amount is too small. Just as we’ve built a sense of community at GoodFellas through countless small moments, we can come together to help Marcus, Jenn and their children find their footing again. Your contribution will make a big difference in their journey toward rebuilding their lives.
Thank you all so much for your support. This serves as a reminder of just how precious life is. Let’s LIVE LARGE, LOVE HARD, and GIVE BACK. ♥️
