Recovering from a Stroke at 46

Hi there y’all, my name is Zac, and along with my partner Eddie we are raising funds to help our partner Chris recover from a Stroke at 46 years old.

You read that correctly, there are three of us. Eddie, myself and Chris are a Throuple.

Just over a month after his 46th birthday, Christopher suffered a Stroke in his Posterior Cerebral Artery. As a result, the left side of his body is largely numb. He struggles to use his left hand, walking is incredibly difficult and he lost vision to a lot of his left side. Doctors also informed us that due to the Stroke, his endurance is going to be nearly non existent. Even the 4 steps to the bathroom leaves him out of breath and sweating.

Myself (Zac) and Chris have been together for 8 years.

We met Eddie about 18 months ago and he’s been a part of our family ever since.

Currently Eddie works as a server and is pulling doubles to support the family as best he can.

Zac performs as a high diver at a family theme park in Pennsylvania entertaining children from March through November. He works retail in the off season and is studying web development.

Christopher has worked in food service management for well over a decade at this point, but with this life development, we aren’t too sure that he will be able to handle that industry any time soon.

At the end of 2022 we relocated to Pennsylvania so Zac could perform every summer at the theme park and not have to be away from the family for 8 months at a times. Thanks to relocating, Christopher hasn’t been at his job long enough to have insurance unfortunately.

Currently Christopher has been in the hospital for a week, and we are being told he’s going to need a pretty serious amount of rehab to relearn how to walk and use his hand again. On top of needing a whole regime of medicine.

Eddie is working his tail off, and Zac’s full time career doesn’t start back up for 6 more weeks.

Any funds we receive will be going towards hospital bills, medicine, rehab, and any other surprises that pop up through all of this.

I don’t know how to express how meaningful even the smallest amount of help is to us. Chris has just literally had his legs pulled out from underneath him. Eddie and I just want to help try and give him the best chance at getting back to normal that we can.

On a personal note, I can’t express how helpless I feel to the man that has given everything for me. He’s been there for me through health scares, major injuries, losses of loved ones, supported me through countless auditions, took on ALL the responsibilities while I toured with a show for a year. He has relocated across the country, away from his family, numerous times so that I can continue my passion of performing.

Over the last 8 years Christopher has given everything to support me in literally anything I do. He’s made more sacrifices than I can even begin to count, just to support me and my dreams. No matter how difficult our life was, he has never questioned me or left my side. I don’t know what I would do without my sweetheart.

I just want to be able to able to provide him the support he has always provided me.
