My name is Chris Rodriguez. I'm 36 years old. I'm a father to a beautiful daughter, artist, art instructor, soccer player, gold prospector and substitute teacher who just got a kidney transplant. I had kidney failure since I was about 21 years old, so I couldn'tenjoy my 20's like most people. I was on dialysis for 8 years. I started dialysis when I was 28. Doctors told me my kidneys were at 4%. I had to either get on dialysis or I would die. It was life changing and heart breaking news. I got a life saving/life changing kidney transplant on September 22, 2025. I won't be able to work for at least 3-6 months due to the surgery. I need the help of the community to help me pay for my bills and medications since I will have 0 income for the next 3-6 months. My bills are at least $2,500 a month. I'm a new daddy as well. My baby turned 1 year old the day after my transplant and I could not be there. I need help to support my beautiful baby girl so she doesn't have to struggle not having diapers, clothes , formula, baby wipes, etc. My mom is my main caregiver right now while I recover.
