Let me take this opportunity to wish all our donors a Prosperous New Year 2026.
Unfortunately, your contributions made to assist the two cyclists of Arima Wheelers Cycling Club to repurchase their stolen bicycles have been reimbursed to each donor. We were told that the account was inactive for too long.
However, we want to get this GoFundMe page going again. We want to restart and extend this page to all our friends, family members and well wishers both near and far.
We are thinking positive and looking forward to return this year to LA in July for another cycling competition at the Velo Sports Center, Carson, LA.
Help us to give these two cyclists the opportunity to repurchase their stolen bicycles.
Thanks in advance for all your donations.
The Arima Wheelers Cycling Club, from Trinidad and Tobago, made their trek to LA, to compete at the 'Summer Slam' Grand Prix '25, which was held at the Velo Sport Center, Carson, LA, Carlifornia from 9th-26th July, 2025.
By Sunday 13th July 2025, two of the bike frames of the eight cyclists were stolen from the garage area of the Airbnb where we stayed.
Both bicycles were purchased in the USA, therefore, the cyclists would have paid a large amount of money for their bicycles.
The two cyclists who were totally displaced are Kwesi Browne, our 2-time Olympian cyclist and Alexia Wilson, one of our Female National Cyclists selected to represent Team TTO at the upcoming U23 Pan American Games 2025. The brands of the road bicycles are 'Cannondale' and 'Fuji' respectively.
Therefore, we are seeking your assistance, friends of AWCC, cyclists, well wishers, family members, help us to recover these two frames, by giving generously to the repurchase of the same.
