Recover losses from theft and fund my new show

I’m an independent artist / freelancer who was in Adelaide to perform at the Fringe when my bag containing $4000 worth of valuables was stolen from my car.

My new MacBook I bought 2 months ago was taken, along with new Jabra headphones I bought only a week before, and a Square reader I was using to sell merch after my show. My cards were used to rack up $600 of transactions that will take weeks for my bank to investigate and recover.

This is devastating for me as I go into Melbourne International Comedy Festival, which requires upfront payments for things like marketing. Even before this major setback, I had already invested thousands into this show that I was hoping to make back in ticket sales.

The money raised here will help funding the show, ‘Gold’, which is an hour of my best stand-up.

The fundraiser is set to end when the Comedy Festival starts on 29 March.
