Recover losses from being Scammed:(

Hey, my name is Sarah. I've been looking for a place to call home and fell victim to an Air BnB scam through kijiji. I was despaired, 4 days before may 1st. I had made a post through kijiji which my friend had suggested to do. I was asking for a 3bdrm fenced in back yard with storage etc. This man reached out to me through text, showing me a place that was listed through Air BnB and that's how the scam happened. I feel horrible that someone scammed me. Im usually better at catching this stuff but I was desperate.

I had been looking for a place for me and the friend I'm living with because of the price of inflation. Living alone is impossible in today's society because of the taxes we pay for everything. I felt the pressure to find us a place to call home. We had to leave where we were. We shared a 1 bedroom and I was sleeping on an air mattress on her living room floor until we found a home. ( Which we did) but I used the little I had left for the move. She's having major surgery for cancer and needs a place that's peaceful and quiet. There were 7 people living above us and you could hear everything. They would walk through her bedroom to get to the laundry. It wasn't good for her health.

That's why this happened. I feel horrible. It was all I had left and now I'm struggling. If you could help me out I'd greatly appreciate it. If not, could you share it out? There's an investigation going on through the police. Im still waiting for an investigator to call me and the bank said I'm not getting my money back. He managed to install malware on the phone and got the password. I'm feeling really hopeless and I'm trying to sell my things to cover what I lost. I don't know what the outcome of all this will be. I'm just taking things one day at a time. I can't pay my bills nor can I pay my rent. You're help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for reading this.
