Our 26 year old daughter stayed at a motel last night in the Salt Lake City area, en route to California, where she was relocating to from Colorado. Overnight, her uhaul trailer was broken into and most of her possessions were stolen. Among items taken were a recently custom-built computer set-up, display monitors, video streaming equipment, expensive medical coding textbooks, all of her shoes and clothing, numerous collectible items, 2 dog beds and dog food (the dog was inside with her), among other things. Our family is in the event promoting business; since the virus situation started we have not been allowed to hold events, so money has been very tight and we are not in a position to assist her financially. A rough estimate so far of the value of items stolen exceeds $10,000, but she especially needs to replace her computer, clothing and textbooks as soon as possible.
