As you may know, we (Brad, Jenna, Kylene and friends) flew out to San Francisco for our best friend’s wedding. I pulled out all the stops and shot some amazing footage for them and was thrilled.

Two days after the wedding, we went to the Botanical Gardens to celebrate and enjoy our time with our friends. We parked on the road and since our Airbnb wouldn’t allow us to check in until later, all of our bags were in the car. We thought since the road we parked on was well-traveled, full of cars and had two paths on either side of the road, we would be fine. We were shocked when we returned to find our trunk window and front passenger-side window were smashed out and all of my gear was stolen. It was a total of over $12,000 of gear that was stolen.

If that wasn’t enough, upon our return we were told that our dog Rufus escaped from Jenna’s mom’s backyard and had been missing for two days. We were immediately thrown into a more pressing and traumatic ordeal searching for him for three more days. Luckily, with the hard work and support of the community and friends, we finally found him late Saturday night. This has been extremely trying on us and has carried its own expenses on top of the lost gear, but we are so so happy to have our little boy back.

The loss of this gear has been devastating, so we are starting this GoFundMe on the suggestion of friends as a last recourse to try to regain some of what was lost. I’ve had to purchase all new equipment as quickly as possible to replace everything that was lost and fulfill all upcoming shooting obligations, so anything you contribute will help immediately alleviate this financial burden.
