DJ Gear Stolen; Upgrade to Industry Standard

Mid-September, my DJ controllers, DJ headphones, Honda Quiet Generator, sleeping bag, mat, and most of my underwear were stolen from my car's trunk. Yes, I have been freeballing more than I'd like to admit.* Rather than be upset, I've taken this as a sign to switch from Traktor DJ, to industry-standard Pioneer.

This past year I've started taking my musical path more seriously. I now spend a decent amount of my free time working on music production. It has been a long road. I have been experimenting, learning, and trying my hand at producing tracks for over fifteen. Finally, I am getting close to releasing a song I am proud of. Someday, I would like to be able to work on music full-time.

For this go-fund-me, I'm asking the Universe for support. The total value of everything stolen, including non-DJ gear, was probably between $1500 and $2250 (used vs. new). I am mentioning this because I don't want anyone to be misled about the nature of this go-fund-me. Yes, this is to help replace what I have lost. However, it is also a vote of confidence for my musical future. I set my goal at $4500 because an industry-standard Pioneer setup would run somewhere between $4500-$6500 (used vs. new). My philosophy for musical expression is: it's best to practice using the exact instrument you will perform on. That being said, I may go with a cheaper pioneer controller (around $3000), depending on the success of this fundraiser. I am not in a rush to acquire new DJ gear, as my primary goal is to get a few tracks released.
