FokkeVO 1st EP release

Music has always been my way of making sense of the world especially when it comes to mental health, identity, and belonging.

I’m raising funds to record my first professional EP (mini-album). This project will bring together different musical worlds: from jazz crooner influences to pop-rock, with house and techno elements — all built around my soulful vocal style.

The first single is called “Vindicated (Gay & Borderline)”.

The song is about living with mental health struggles and breaking the stigma that still surrounds them. It’s personal, vulnerable, and honest but also empowering.

Through this EP I want to show that music can create empathy where society sometimes fails.

Your contribution will directly help fund the professional production of the EP, including:

-Studio recording time

-Producer and mixing/mastering

-Songwriting equipment (keyboard, microphone, recording gear)

-Songwriting and creative development

-Songwriting camp and collaborations with other musicians

These resources will allow me to turn raw ideas into a high-quality, professional record that truly does justice my voice.m
