Last Thursday morning a fire at an apartment complex was registered in Bogotá, Colombia. Luisa Fernanda Velasco Pardo (a very close friend from school) and her family rented that apartment. It was a sad tragedy although the only positiveness behind it is that they came out of this incident alive and completely safe.
Today they are living a moment of uncertainty because their belongings were completely destroyed by the intensity of the flames and they have to restart their lives from scratch.
We seek the generosity of everyone to show solidarity with Luisa and her family (a home of 4 amazing women and a furry partner) to raise funds that serve to solve a number of situations that do not wait, such as finding a place this family can rent, pay bills and rebuild the apartment lost during the tragedy as they must deliver it to its owner in perfect condition; to sum over that, thousands of obligations that must be covered from now on to resettle.
Luisa has been a great friend for all of us who know her, part of our family, unconditional, loyal and always ready to help others. We've all seen her generosity reflected during her life journey and in the middle of the day-to-day experiences, jumps in to own the cause of helping homeless four legged angels.
Let's give back part of her willingness to help and let's get together in this little effort to join all our hands and lend them to her. We all can let them know they are not alone.

El pasado jueves en horas de la mañana se registró un incendio en Bogotá, Colombia. Luisa Fernanda Velasco Pardo (una amiga del colegio) y su familia vivían en dicho apartamento en arriendo. Este suceso es una verdadera tragedia pero afortunadamente todas salieron con vida y sin mayores complicaciones de salud tras el incidente.
Hoy están viviendo un momento de incertidumbre porque sus pertenencias quedaron calcinadas por la intensidad de las llamas y prácticamente deben empezar de cero.
Buscamos la generosidad de todos para solidarizarnos con Luisa y su familia (un hogar de 4 mujeres maravillosas y su compañero peludo) para reunir fondos que sirvan a darle solución a un sin número de situaciones que no dan espera como conseguir un lugar donde pueda vivir esta familia en arriendo, pagar servicios públicos y poder reconstruir el apartamento perdido durante la tragedia, ya que deben entregarlo a su dueño en perfectas condiciones; sumado a esto miles de obligaciones que deben ser cubiertas desde ya para lograr reestablecerse.
Luisa ha sido para todos quienes la conocemos un gran amiga, parte de nuestra familia, incondicional, leal y siempre dispuesta a ayudar a los demás. Su enorme generosidad es reflejada durante su recorrido de vida y en medio de la cotidianidad toma como causa propia ayudar a amigos de cuatro patas sin hogar.
En esta vida de manos prestadas, unámonos en este pequeño esfuerzo y juntemos todas nuestras manos para prestárselas a ella. Todos podemos hacerles saber que no están solas.
