The Fasiledes High school in Gondar is in a state of destruction beyond repair. The students are at risk; because the building can collapse at any time. It was founded in 1934 and used to be called ቀኃሥ ሁለተኛ ደረጃ ት/ቤት. It has produced so many. Currently, it accommodates up to 106 students per room. It has been like this for long. But why?
The task of reconstructing the school is left to the people. A committed committee responsible for the reconstruction is formed in Gondar. Concerned individuals are organizing this independent fundraising campaign outside Ethiopia. The fund is collected through a USA based, registered nonprofit organization called Fasiledes Meredeja Mahber. Your help is very much needed. We know you do more individually; but this is a call for a joint mission to all concerned. Please show your solidarity with the people. Together, we can do great things! And this is one such moment. May God bless you for your help. May God protect our country and the people.
