Donation protected
Hi my name is Nathan I am from Sydney Australia and I am 38 years old. I am a high level quadriplegic and will never be able to walk again.
In January 2017 I was travelling on the motorway when my car suddenly stopped. This came as a shock to me as I had just had a full service which was required for pink slip and registration which was due on 29 December 2016.
As a consequence of my vehicle stopping I had to give up my job as I am unable to catch public transport. I reapplied for Centrelinks Disability Support Pension in February but apparently there is a backlog on applications and they are unsure when a payment will be coming my way.
Currently I am in private rental and I am worried that if my financial situation doesn't improve that I could be homeless. I have always considered myself a hard worker and would ideally like to get back into employment but as mentioned before this is impossible without my car.
I have had kind donations of food from family and charity organisations but nobody can help me with the car unfortunately.
Currently I am home bound and am unable to attend medical appointments or social gatherings this has had a huge impact on my physical and mental wellbeing and has left me in a very depressed state of mind.
If you are able to assist in a financial way or know of anybody who would kindly donate an Engine and install services for a Holden Cruze JH 2011 I would be truly appreciative.
