Gail Patterson has been a valued and dedicated member of our team who has helped care for and serve our guests with warmth and consistency over the years. Recently, Gail was diagnosed with cancer and is currently focusing on treatment and recovery.

Gail did not want her situation to be viewed as charity. Many guests, however, have asked how they might still show their appreciation for the care and kindness she has always extended during her time working here. This page exists to honor that sentiment in a way that reflects Gail’s wishes.

All contributions made here are treated as though they were tips Gail would have received while she was actively working — a quiet acknowledgment of service rather than a request for help. Whether or not someone chooses to participate, we simply wanted to share an update about Gail and allow a space for guests who have expressed that desire.
