Help me get my home and puppy back

Hello,

I have recently gotten out of a bad long-term relationship, and I need help reclaiming my home and independence.

My ex and I recently bought a house together using my income (he showed his true colors after we closed on it), but he contributed some cash and is now demanding I pay him back before he leaves. I can't be in my own home when he's there for fear of him.

During the last couple months I have contacted several local organizations aimed at helping people get out of bad relationships, but I have not qualified for free or low-cost aid.

I have been staying with a friend for the last month and a half, almost 2 months, and my puppy, Marsi (in the picture), has had to stay separately from me due to pet restrictions at my friend's apartment. This has been very challenging for me, as she is my reason for living, but also for her because she is away from her human.

My main challenge in reclaiming my home and independence is that I already emptied my savings trying to keep both humans and pup housed and fed over the last several months of our relationship when he was willingly unemployed. Due to this previous generosity towards him, I now have nothing left in my savings to buy him out of the house.

All funds raised will go towards reclaiming my home. Most of it will be for reimbursing my ex for what he spent on the house. The rest may have to go towards any legal fees that pop up. He has gotten a lawyer, so I may be forced to do the same soon, and that isn't going to be cheap.

Any help towards getting my home and puppy back would be greatly appreciated!
