Reclaiming a Miracle

Donation protected
My name is Seth Knight. I have an amazing daughter, Raven, that I'm very proud of. She never asks for anything, so when she asked me about the possibility of going on a class trip to Germany, France, and Switzerland, I wanted to say yes, but upon seeing the cost I had to say no. She asked her mother and her step-father and they, feeling the same as I did, had to give the same answer. Sometimes I have a feeling about things. I did about this, a feeling of helpfulness. I told her that I believed in miracles. I told her to put her wish out there, to have faith, and if she felt comfortable, to pray (I know I did) that a miracle would happen. A couple of day's later she came home excited to say that the trip would be paid for in full! All I had to pay for was the passport. It was right around the time her passport arrived that her mother tearfully told her that, even though the angel her step-father had found was able to pay for more than half the trip, that more could not be added to the fund. If this were another year, I would've been able to make up the difference myself. I don't ask for much in this world. I know people use gofundme, to pay rent, and deal with hardships and I am asking for money for a trip. If it were for me I wouldn't ask. In my six plus years as a single parent of two I have struggled often. One winter I took a second job and worked from 5 A.M. until 3:30, trudged though the snow to my other job and worked until midnight, five days a week. I am self-reliant and hate asking for help. But this isn't about me. This is for my daughter. This is about keeping a promise, and reclaiming a miracle. I would never have asked to fund the entire trip like this, but as I looked over her beautiful new passport with her, one that she could no longer use for the trip, I grew determined. I vowed I would do everything in my power to make this life-changing trip happen for her. Time is running out. She needs $930 by Feb 15 and another $930 by March 1st. I will be putting in all I have, but I need help. Please, if you wish to help, only give what you can afford, every little bit helps. If you can't give, please share this campaign. Raven and I thank you.
