Hi everyone,

As many of you know, I have sweet Charlie — my rescue pup who narrowly escaped euthanasia and came to me so sick but full of heart. Today, he’s the happiest boy, living his best life.

Yesterday, I took him to Green Dog Dental for what I thought would be a routine $600 cleaning. Unfortunately, they discovered serious dental issues likely due to genetic tooth resorption. Charlie needed 9 extractions, 3 root re-extractions, deep root planing, oral mass removal and biopsy for a total of $4800.

Because he’s an older boy and was already under anesthesia, I approved starting the work. His mouth was in such bad shape that they could only finish half the procedure. He’s now home resting comfortably with extra love and treats, but he’ll need to return in a month to complete the rest.

I’ve attached the bill I paid yesterday and would be so grateful for any help toward his ongoing dental care.
