Recent double amputee in need of assistance

Dear Friends and Supporters,

I hope this message finds you well. Today, I want to introduce you to an incredible individual who has faced a tremendous challenge. Meet my brother Graeme, a courageous soul who recently underwent a double leg amputation due to a very serious heart problem.

Graeme has shown remarkable resilience in spite of this, but the journey ahead is not an easy one. Adjusting to life without limbs is an immense physical and emotional challenge, and it comes with a significant financial burden. medical bills, prosthetic limbs, mobility aids, and home modifications are just some of the expenses he now faces.

My brother Graeme who is 65, and resides on Vancouver Island, is currently still in the hospital, and with myself being a Personal Support Worker here in Ontario, I have decided to move out there permanently to provide him with physical and moral support as well as ease the burden on his loving wife Denise.

As a community, we have the opportunity to make a significant difference in Graemes life. Together, we can help alleviate the financial strain and provide him with the resources he needs to regain independence, and to also have a loving and supportive family member close by.

I have set up this fundraiser to raise $10.000 to support Graeme's journey to recovery. Every donation, no matter the amount will make a meaningful impact. Your generosity can help cover medical expenses, assistive devices, rehabilitation, and to assist with my move across Canada to be there for him and his wife.
