Amputee Marine Veteran Needs Help Now

Donation protected
Joe (Jose) Correia is a United States Marine Corps Veteran. Since August 2018, Joe has experienced multiple health issues. His most recent setback began on September 16, 2019. when he became an inpatient at the Providence, RI VA Medical Center. On October 3, 2019, Joe underwent a serious operation which included leg amputation. He is totally non-weight bearing and requires a hoyer lift to get out of bed. There are additional surgeries in Joe's future.  Joe will be transferred to the West Roxbury, VA Medical Center as soon as his white blood cell count is stabilized. He will undergone extensive rehabilitation. Once home, he will require 24 hour nursing care. His house will require renovations to widen door frames to allow wheelchairs to go through, among other issues. I am Joe's wife, Darlene. I am a licensed psychotherapist; however, I am not able to work full-time due to Joe's medical care. We are both aware everyone is dealing with their own issues. It would be greatly appreciated if this campaign can be shared, if not donated to. Every little amount helps. If you prefer to donate and not use GoFundMe, please contact me through this link and I will provide a mailing address. Thank you all for your support and letting Joe his service to his country is appreciated.
