Camille’s Medical Expenses

I’m Donna, my dear friend’s granddaughter, Camille, was recently diagnosed with Medulloblastoma, a large brain tumor. One day she was playing with friends, celebrating her 10th birthday, the next she was in St. Louis Children’s Hospital having scans and surgery. Camille’s parents are a hardworking young couple and have insurance, but only some of her medical expenses are covered. Camille has already been in the hospital for two weeks, had several surgeries, and will begin radiation and chemotherapy right away. She has a long and expensive road to recovery.
