Apoyemos a Briseyda

Briseyda es una persona muy querida en nuestra comunidad de fútbol—siempre apoyando a los demás y dejando una huella positiva en todos los que la conocemos.

En el 2024, fue víctima de un tiroteo en el área de Memphis, sufriendo heridas graves que requirieron múltiples cirugías y terapias. A pesar de todo, ha demostrado una fortaleza increíble.

Hoy enfrenta otro gran desafío: está detenida por inmigración y luchando su caso. Ella ya había iniciado un proceso migratorio con alta probabilidad de éxito, pero ahora está en riesgo de perder todo ese avance.

En su primera audiencia no tuvo representación legal, pero el juez le dio una extensión. Su próxima corte es el 1 de mayo, y es urgente que cuente con un abogado.

Estamos recaudando fondos para cubrir sus gastos legales y darle la oportunidad de continuar su caso y defender su futuro.

Briseyda no tiene una gran red familiar, pero tiene a su comunidad—y ahora nos necesita más que nunca.

Brisa is a beloved member of our soccer community—someone who always shows up for others and leaves a positive impact on everyone she meets.

In 2024, she was a victim of a shooting in the Memphis area, suffering severe injuries that required multiple surgeries and ongoing therapy. Through it all, she has shown incredible strength.

Today, she is facing another major challenge: she has been detained by immigration and is fighting her case. She had already begun an immigration process with a strong chance of success, but now she is at risk of losing all of that progress.

At her first hearing, she did not have legal representation, but the judge granted her an extension. Her next court date is May 1st, and it is urgent that she has an attorney.

We are raising funds to cover her legal expenses and give her the chance to continue her case and defend her future.

Brisa may not have a large family support system, but she has her community—and she needs us now more than ever.
