Reca Needs Our Help

Reca Sexton was one of Alaqua's first employees and remains one of it's most valuable.  She truly loves the animals and it shows.  Her kind heart extends to humans as well, and when a friend called her in need, she left her home to comfort them.  On her drive back, she fell asleep at the wheel and crashed into a tree.  Reca was taken to ICU to treat her liver, which has split in half, neck and face injuries, and her front tooth was knocked out.

It will likely take months for her to fully recover and she needs our help to financially get through that time.  She is a single mother trying to make it on a non-profit salary.

Donations to this fund will help her pay medical expenses, get back into a vehicle that she can use for work and transporting her son to school, and living expenses while she is recovering.

Reca needs our help NOW.  Please consider helping someone who has helped so many.  Alaqua Animal Refuge would not be what it is today without her.
