HELP REBUILD OUR RECESS!
Parchment North Elementary's current playground equipment is over 20 years old and falling apart. Due to the age of the equipment we are unable to buy replacement slides, so we are fundraising for new equipment.
Parchment North is a school that educates 300+ students and has a 64% free and reduced lunch population. We also service a large special needs population through our two resource rooms and our county ASD classroom.
It is essential for our kids to play on equipment that promotes creative play, as well as develop the proper emotional and cognitive skills needed for proper development.
Our kids need a safe playground they can look forward to going outside to play on. Parchment is a wonderful community and the support we have been given so far is much appreciated. That being said we have a long way to go.
Parchment North PTO is currently fundraising and looking for grants to help fund our playground.
