On a day we never imagined, January 21st, 2026, our church home—True Light Temple of Praise, located in Ford Heights, IL—was lost to a devastating fire. Since 1967, this church has stood as more than just a building. It has been a sanctuary of faith, hope, love, and community for generations of families.

True Light Temple of Praise has been a place where lives were changed, prayers were answered, and countless souls found comfort, healing, and purpose. To see it gone is heartbreaking, but the spirit of our church remains unshaken.

This tragedy has deeply affected our entire church family—our pastors, James Morgan and LaDell Jones, our First Ladies, Meikeia Morgan and Adelia Jones, our evangelists, deacons, leaders, faithful members and our youth who are struggling with this loss. Many of them considered the church their safe place, and their hearts are heavy as they try to understand how something so meaningful could be taken away.

We are asking for your prayers, love, and support during this difficult time. Every donation, no matter the amount, will help us begin the journey of rebuilding—not just a structure, but a place where faith can continue to grow, where our children can worship, and where our community can once again gather in unity.
