Hi, my name is Makiylah Hurd, and I’m the founder of Kay’Cee Kosmetics, a beauty brand born from love, healing, and purpose.

In 2022, my life changed forever when I lost my younger brother, Caleb Westbrooks, to senseless violence. In the midst of that unimaginable pain, I turned to creativity and passion as a way to heal. That journey led to the creation of Kay’Cee Kosmetics — a brand that honors Caleb’s memory and represents strength, resilience, and hope.

Recently, I was blessed with a life-changing opportunity. After bravely sharing my story, both the Beauty Gives Back Foundation and the American Beauty Show recognized my mission and generously donated two booths to support Kay’Cee Kosmetics. This platform will allow me to present my products, expand my brand, and inspire others with my journey.
