My family has been deeply affected by the devastation caused by Hurricane Melissa here in Jamaica. The floods swept through our community and took everything — our home, our animals, our food, and even our sense of security. We’re now left with no electricity, no clean water, no internet, and no way to provide for ourselves in this moment of crisis.

It’s hard to put into words the pain of watching everything you’ve built wash away, but even harder is seeing the people around you — friends, neighbors, and loved ones — struggling just the same.

The Georges Plain/ Grange hill/ Burnt Savannah/Frome and surrounding communities has been hit hard, and we are all trying our best to stay strong.These funds will be used to help feed and support families in our community while we work to recover and rebuild. Every donation, no matter how small, will go toward providing food, clean water, and essential supplies to those who have lost everything.
