Rebuilding Turtles surf shop from the ashes.
Donation protected
Hi Lovely People,
Three weeks ago I lost my shop to a fire with the passage of tropical storm Phillipe. The whole marina was burnt to the ground, leaving nothing behind but ash.
I started Turtles Surf Shop 13 years ago with the last penny I had to my name. It has been a labor of love, and allowed me to pursue my passion of providing eco-friendly clothing and accessories, trying to do my part to protect the environment.
At the time of the fire I had already placed all the new stock in the shop in preparation for the new season and was all lost to the fire. I humbly come to you for help to re-open the doors once again, to what has become more than merely bricks and mortar. Together we have created a community that has allowed me to support myself financially, despite suffering a spinal cord injury when I was 21 years old. As many of you know I have relied on a wheelchair for my mobility, and with the support of my brother and friends we have made the shop a success.
With your help I hope to be open again by the new year to get back to doing what I love and welcome you back for the next chapter in Turtles Surf Shop. I thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart for any donation or support you are able to offer.
Sincerely,
Turtle
