Ayúdanos a reconstruir nuestro hogar tras un incendio devastador :(

Perdimos nuestra casa en un incendio. Sobrevivimos de milagro, pero lo perdimos todo: hogar, pertenencias y a nuestras amadas mascotas. Hoy necesitamos ayuda para empezar de nuevo.

El pasado jueves 5 de Junio, a las 3:10 de la madrugada, nuestra casa —que habíamos construido con nuestras propias manos y esfuerzo durante años— fue consumida completamente por el fuego. Vivíamos allí mi pareja Cristóbal, mi hijo Simón de 4 años, y yo, junto a nuestras amadas mascotas: nuestra perrita Dazza y nuestras gatitas Amatista y Ámbar, que eran parte de nuestra familia.

Esa madrugada, Cristóbal despertó de milagro al sentir olor a humo. Corrió por el pasillo hacia el hall de entrada, donde ya había un calor intenso y humo irrespirable. Al abrir una puerta, el ingreso de oxígeno hizo que el fuego comenzara a avanzar de forma violenta. Yo iba detrás de él, gritando los nombres de nuestras mascotas, sin obtener respuesta. Solo alcanzamos a correr de vuelta a nuestra habitación, tomar a nuestro hijo y salir corriendo por el ventanal de la pieza , descalzos, a pedir ayuda.

Los vecinos llegaron, luego los bomberos, pero el fuego ya lo había consumido todo frente a nuestros ojos. Perdimos absolutamente todo: nuestra casa, nuestro proyecto, nuestras pertenencias… y lo más doloroso, a nuestras hijas peludas. Seguimos en shock. Estamos vivos, y muy agradecidos por eso, pero quedamos incompletos, destrozados… y solo con lo puesto.

Esta casa fue levantada con amor y mucho esfuerzo. Nos endeudamos con el banco para poder lograrlo. Ahora no tenemos nada. Solo una deuda.

Hoy pedimos ayuda con el corazón abierto. Necesitamos reconstruir nuestro hogar y volver a empezar. Pero no podemos hacerlo solos. Si tú puedes colaborar, aunque sea con un pequeño aporte, te lo agradeceremos con el alma. Cada gesto suma. Cada mano que se extiende nos recuerda que no estamos solos.

We lost our home in a fire. We survived by a miracle, but lost everything: our home, belongings, and beloved pets. Today, we need help to start over.

On Thursday, July 5th, at 3:10 in the morning, our house —which we had built with our own hands and years of effort— was completely consumed by fire. My partner Cristóbal, my 4-year-old son Simón, and I lived there, along with our beloved pets: our dog Dazza and our cats Amatista and Ámbar, who were part of our family.

That morning, Cristóbal miraculously woke up when he smelled smoke. He ran down the hallway to the entrance hall, where there was already intense heat and unbreathable smoke. When he opened a door, the oxygen that entered caused the fire to spread violently. I followed behind him, calling out the names of our pets, but got no response. We only managed to run back to our room, grab our son, and escape through the bedroom window —barefoot— to call for help.

The neighbors came, then the firefighters, but the fire had already consumed everything before our eyes. We lost absolutely everything: our home, our project, our belongings… and most painfully, our furry daughters. We are still in shock. We are alive and deeply grateful for that, but we are left incomplete, devastated… and with nothing but what we were wearing.

This house was built with love and great effort. We went into debt with the bank to make it possible. Now we have nothing. Only the debt.

Today we ask for help with open hearts. We need to rebuild our home and start over. But we cannot do it alone. If you are able to collaborate, even with a small contribution, we will be forever grateful. Every gesture counts. Every helping hand reminds us that we are not alone.
