On Friday, December 26th, 2025, at 12:46 pm, a severe housefire in Suffolk, VA took away their home and belongings. Tragically, later that same afternoon, a second fire struck the property—compounding the damage and making their situation even worse.

The Marks family is now displaced from their home while they navigate the challenges of insurance claims and begin the long process of recovery.
