Rebuilding the Brown’s family legacy

Hello, my name is Brian Kelly. Myself and Cindy Mazzilli are not just colleagues but good friends of Juliette Brown, who recently suffered a great loss the day before her and her family were set to host Thanksgiving dinner. There was a fire that started at around 3 AM while everyone was asleep. Thankfully, Juliette and her family escaped in time without injury, but the house was deemed a total loss due to the extent of the damage caused by the fire, smoke, and the water used to put it out.

The Brown family has lived in this house since 1968, so as you can imagine, 54 years of memories went up in smoke. In the photo we shared, the Browns’ perseverance, humor, and family unity is on clear display, and it has helped them adapt to their current situation. Having to go through the process of rebuilding their home, during the holiday season no less, is extremely challenging. As if that wasn’t already enough, add the challenge of dealing with insurance adjusters, new state or local building codes, contractor estimates, supply chain issues, and inflation. The funds collected will be used to assist the family through the construction process, putting food on the table, and all the little things we take for granted as they work to rebuild their lives.

Jim and Juliette, as parents, are staying strong while providing stability for their three children and the dogs. Their main focus through this stressful process is to be strong for their family.

Over the years, many of their neighbors and friends have enjoyed countless celebrations at the Brown residence. Now, it’s our time to come together as a community of friends, colleagues, and family to help rebuild the Brown family’s legacy.
