Rebuilding Stillwater Farm (the Braymiller family)

Tax deductible
On January 29, 2024, the horse barn at Stillwater Farm suffered an unexpected and serious fire. Fortunately, all living creatures including the Braymiller family and all the animals that reside in the barn were able to be rescued. This includes Penny Lane the famous mini pot-bellied pig, Cooper the mini-horse, Ellie the horse, Clementine the donkey and 3 adorable goats. The structure, however, was completely destroyed.

Stillwater Farm is more than the full time residence of the Braymiller family and their menagerie of animals (many of which are rescues). It is more than a working farm. Stillwater Farm, and it's charity C.A.R.E. at Stillwater are an integral part of WNY who have made an immeasurable impact on our community and provided a place of healing and support.

Examples of events supported by C.A.R.E. at Stillwater:
-Collaborative events with Roswell Park's Courage of Carly Foundation including "Day at the Farm" for kids with cancer and blood disorders
-Hosting events for PUNT Pediatric Cancer Collaborative
-Bereavement events for families who've lost their child to cancer in conjunction with PUNT
-Bereavement orchard--each tree specially planted by the Braymiller family honoring a child lost to cancer
-Farm Dinner Series celebrating WNY's finest culinary talents and excellence of our local farming & agriculture

These funds will be used to help the family rebuild the barn (which was insured but will not provide enough funds to rebuild to the previous standard), recover lost farm equipment, food stocks and charity supplies, help support the cost of boarding these animals and provide gap funding to aid in the recovery of Stillwater Farm and the sustainability and potential expansion of C.A.R.E. at Stillwater. Future goals include creating a more accessible environment for guests with mobility limitations (including restrooms), possible barn expansion to accommodate additional rescues, and possible physical expansion to create additional sheltered space to host events year-round.

Want to join me in making a difference? We're raising money to benefit C.A.R.E. at Stillwater Farm Inc, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me and the entire Buffalo community.
