Update: I didn’t expect this level of kindness omg. Thank you. I’m still without a home and staying in temporary accommodation. The council hasn’t been able to assist so far and quite frankly haven't helped at all, so this support is what’s currently preventing this all gettting much worse.
Hi, my name is Tiger.
I’m a London-based dance and fitness teacher. Recently, my family and I were evicted with just six days’ notice and made homless. We were forced to leave our home suddenly after a Man working for the legal aid department of the UK government took out a loan of hundreds of thousands of pounds secured against our family home to pay off the houses debts with my parents consent...but...instead...did not pay off the debts and kept the money for himself!
Since then (17.12.25) I’ve been staying in short-term hotel accommodation funded through kind donations and what little money I have from work. My parents have received kind donations to keep them afloat and I believe the council will eventually put them somewhere safe.
But as for myself? I'm still homeless.
Savings has always been a problem for me due to having to help my family with debts since my teens. So, here I am. It was just 6 days from being told we're evicted to it being a true reality for me.
I don’t identify with that word, homeless, as who I am — it’s simply a temporary situation I’m moving through. A brute unfortunate fact.
I want to be very clear about the tone of this fundraiser. I’m not sharing from a place victimhood. Although there is some degree of stress and uncertainty of course.
I’m continuing to work and teach although I won't get much money through the Christmas period due to work closing until the new year. This sudden displacement comes with real, unavoidable costs — especially in London, especially in the winter — and right now I’m navigating those realities without stable housing.
As some know I speak about our deep spiritual nature online. How our deepest self is always free. However, I don’t believe having a wide perspective on life and asking for help are contradictions. Our bodies still need shelter, stability, and practical support. No matter our beliefs.
This fundraiser exists to help with short-term stabilisation, not long-term dependency.
Any funds raised will be used for:
Accommodation
Transport so I can continue working and teaching
Food and basic essentials
Storage and administrative costs during this transition
This support creates breathing room so I can secure accommodation, remain functional, and continue moving forward without falling into crisis — particularly through the winter period.
I’m sharing this openly and without expectation. If you feel moved to help, thank you. If not, that’s completely okay. Everyone is living their own life and carrying their own responsibilities.
Support, shares, or kind messages are all genuinely appreciated.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
Thank you for helping my parents on the previous fundraiser :)
