Sheldon ECA after Hurricane Harvey

Sheldon ISD is a small low income district with a big heart.  Myself and several other teachers from Sheldon Early Childhood Academy would like to help our students whose houses were affected by the floods.  Our district facilities and students homes were recently devastated during the flooding related to Hurricane Harvey.  We are a small campus inside a small district. Our campus serves approximately 600 Prekindergarten and Kindergarten students (4-6 year olds). We are requesting assistance to help buy school supplies, clothes, shoes and toiletries for our students as they try to rebuild.  Our students wear uniforms which can get expensive for families, so we would like to help ease some of the burden as they try to return to their homes and school.

Any amount or items that you can donate would help these families get back on their feet.  We were only in school for three days before Hurricane Harvey.  We currently cannot access our school and do not know how high the water is inside.  We will have extensive cleanup efforts once we get back before we can even welcome students back to our school.  Thank you for any and all donations you can help with, our staff, students and their families greatly appreciate it.
