Rebuilding San Diego Fight Club

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Natalie. I am fundraising to help rebuild San Diego Fight Club.
I walked into this gym nearly 8 years ago and instantly fell in love. I have always found joy in communities of hard-working people who take on challenges to better themselves. But SDFC was more than that... it was a culture with history being shared among everyone that walked in the door. It didn't matter if you were 5 years old to 65 years old, there seemed to be a sense of pride that made you feel a part of something bigger than yourself, a club filled with families that crossed generations trying to make a difference and instill a way of life with character. In the last 8 years have seen many people train, compete and grow up at SDFC. I have also participated in the youth outreach programs between San Diego Fight Club and San Diego Police Commission, ABC Boxing, USA Wrestling, and Hamilton's Heart Foundation...meeting many people who wanted to support and change the lives of those that step on the mat.

San Diego Fight Club has not just been a place to learn how to box or train jiu jitsu ... it has been a place where kids have been taught the value of hard work, respect, and loyalty to a team ... it has been a place where men and women have come to earn training partners, friends and a support system through life's battles ... it has been a place to get in shape, gain confidence, learn self-defense and enjoy competition ... it has been a place where fighters were made, coaches were born and life long bonds were formed. Anyone who has ever had the opportunity to be a part of San Diego Fight Club and train under Charlie Kohler can tell you how much it means to be a part of this club.

In the last few years because of flooding, property sales, stolen funding and pandemic, SDFC has barely survived and had to temporarily suspend most of its classes, training programs and outreach efforts. I am excited to say San Diego Fight Club has finally found a new home and the rebuilding process has begun but your help is still needed to bring this club back to life. Your donation will go towards construction, equipment, training gear, new uniforms, and the relaunch of the club's full class schedule and community outreach programs.

Can I count on you to help San Diego Fight Club continue its legacy for generations to come?

Thank you!

Best Wishes,
Natalie :)
